Hearing stories about people’s individual experiences is central to conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion, but why is that the case? This session will break down why it is important to recognize individual differences in role, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion and sexual orientation, among other aspects of identity, and how we can celebrate differences to create a more inclusive workplace culture. Participants will leave the session with a shared understanding of intersectionality and how the acceptance of individual differences can support diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
