This workshop takes a deeper dive into the LGBTQ+ community. Building off the fundamental concepts from the LGBTQ Basics training, this training explores the experiences and challenges faced by gender diverse and transgender people; develops a working knowledge of the various ways people in the gender diverse and transgender community identify relating to gender identity and expression; an increased comfort level in communicating with, and using language related to, the gender diverse and transgender community; and offers strategies to support and act as allies to gender diverse and transgender people in the workplace.
