ESG has become an important competency for CRE organizations. This includes the ability to designing a plan that aligns to corporate goals to executing initiatives from energy reduction to governance. This offering includes both courses needed to earn the ESG Level 1 Certificate. ESG Essentials, a level setting course which explains ESG and the broader context of sustainability leaving you more confident in your ability to help your company develop and execute its sustainability goals is presented on October 3 and October 5, 1:00-3:00 PM Eastern US Time. ESG Applied to CRE is presented on October 10 1:00-3:00 PM Eastern US Time. This action based knowledge is needed when beginning or improving a CRE ESG program. Come prepared to be intrigued, inspired, and empowered to support your company’s Environmental, Societal and Governance (ESG) goals. This course is for all corporate real estate professionals regardless of job function. This course consists of three parts; ESG Essentials - Part 1 & 2, and ESG Applied to Corporate Real Estate.

Upon retirement from UPS, Elba expanded her Sustainability Navigator newsletter into an organization she now leads.

Bio: Colette serves as Chief Operating Officer, Commercial Division at SMS Assist, a Lessen Company . Her previous experience included roles as the SVP, Chief Administrative Officer at Apollo Education Group, and Global Head of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) for Cushman & Wakefield. She has also held real estate executive roles at Oracle and Boeing. She is a speaker and author on corporate real estate, facilities management, ESG, and PropTech. Her professional affiliations include Counselor of Real Estate (CRE®), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR), Senior Leader of Corporate Real Estate (SLCR) and Certified Facility Manager (CFM).
